All the ladies I see walking around Chicago sport some kind of rain boots... paired with warm sock inserts in the winter time.  Hunter's Wellingtons seem to be the rain boot of choice here... I think I need to pick myself up a pair so I can fit in to the fashion scene. And the rain is on it's way so I'd better get some soon!

I am really liking these city prints.  They are so cute!  There are quite a few cities represented but not nearly all of them.  I wonder if the artist would do a particular city if you requested?  So this one is of St. Louis... obviously!  Kiener Plaza?  Kind of a weird selection of view but hey... I like that it's different than the standard view from across the river.  This would be a great gift for the one you love...

WEDDING OBSESSED

I really, really love weddings... and wedding planning.  And I think that this guestbook idea is fantastic!  What an adorable idea.  It would be great if you could draw the tree yourself. Then your guests just put their fingerprints on the tree and sign their names.  Family can be the roots of the tree possibly?  I love the colors of this one but you would use the colors that coordinate with your wedding.

You provide a little sign guiding your guests on what to do and have some wet towelettes there to get the ink off of their fingers.  Then it's time to party!  I just love it!

I've fallen in love with this gown.  If only I had somewhere fancy to go with it and the balloon... Isn't it just lovely.  

LoveJune, on Etsy, has created a shop full of beautiful dresses and gowns.  This one is named Georgia (have I mentioned that I adore it?).  I'm so impressed with fashion designers and sometimes wonder if I could have pursued that career path... as if Interior Design isn't competitive enough!

I have a new favorite Etsy store... well, really I'm just adding it to the long list of great artists who are on Etsy!  The shop is named 'Story By Mia', you can find it here.  She has a nice selection of super simple, yet beautiful, stationary.  It's the simplicity that gets me! She also has a nice photo blog, I wish I could be a little more proactive about photo documenting life!

I really like the idea of printing your own stationary.  Early this year I took a letterpress class and really enjoyed what came out of it.  I hope to do something like that in the new year too.  But I can't really buy my own letterpress, so I've been looking into some other, more manageable, printing methods such as the Yudu or the Gocco.  We will just have to see!
